ELO Replication

ELO Replication facilitates the automated comparison of documents and data across several archive servers according to defined replication circles. In doing so, only the changes are transmitted and there is no need to transfer unchanged files.

If a company has several offices it must ensure that each office is working with the same current data. For example, if a customer is added in office A, office B should also be able to access this customer on its archive server. If data is changed, it must be possible to replicate this on demand across the company. Therefore, ELO Replication ensures that these requirements are carried out automatically and securely.

The replication cycles and the document areas, i.e. the data which employees can access, can be freely set up within ELO. Once a synchronisation has taken place, any replication conflicts can be seen and managed in the version management. Data exchange with the replication module is network-independent and can be carried out via a direct network link, FTP or e-mail transport.
